Karen Denise Santillana

Karen Denise Stantillana, age 59, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on August 12, 1966, in Muskogee, she was the beloved daughter of George Anthony Napier and Betty Eugene (Fowler) Napier. Karen dedicated her career to serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her compassion, gentle touch, and unwavering dedication brought comfort to countless individuals. Colleagues and patients alike knew her as someone who went above and beyond, offering both skilled care and heartfelt kindness. Grounded in deep faith, Karen was an active member of her church community. She participated in worship, service projects, and fellowship, always seeking ways to lift others up with her encouragement and joyful spirit. Her devotion was evident in her daily life and in the way she treated every person she met. Family was at the heart of Karen’s world. She cherished her role as a mother, daughter, friend, and mentor, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. Her home was a haven of warmth, music, and togetherness. Karen’s bond with her faithful dog, Cottontop, brought her immeasurable joy and companionship. Karen’s quick wit and love for humor brightened every room she entered. She found happiness in singing and sharing music with others. As president of the resident organization at Broadway, Karen was serious about her job and loved doing it! She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and service. Her generous heart, joyful spirit, and unwavering kindness touched all who knew her. She will be dearly missed, yet her memory will live on in the hearts of family, friends, and the community she so deeply loved. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Betty Napier; brother, Brian Herndon; and adopted mother, Tura Fowler. Karen is survived by her daughters, Nichole Davis and husband Wade and her granddaughter, Aubree all of Muskogee, OK, and Chantel Fowler of Muskogee, OK; sisters, Starla McKeefer and husband Dusty of Eufaula, OK, Renee Fairchild and husband Jimmy of Baytown, TX, and Annette Burton and husband David of Shawnee, OK; brother, Michael Herndon of Eufaula, OK; and many other family members and friends. A family conduced celebration of Karen’s life will be 10:30AM, Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Hanna First Baptist Church.
