Melissa Louise Orman

On Wednesday, November 13, 2019, Melissa “Missy” (Dillard) Orman, wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, passed away suddenly at the young age of 45. Missy was born on December 27, 1973, about 2 weeks overdue, which as all who knew her knew, she took her time and arrived when she was ready and presentable. She was born and raised in Muskogee where she remained and began raising her own child. She had always showed an interest in all things medical and when the opportunity presented itself, Missy earned her Associate’s degree as a surgical technologist, where she excelled. However, her most favorite thing she ever did was become a mother. Missy loved being a mother to her son and put everything she had into giving him the best life she could. Missy is survived by her husband, Johnathan; son, Johnathan Leland “LJ”; dad, Carroll Dillard; sister, Stacie Dillard-Self and husband Mike; brother, Terry Ceaser and wife Lori; aunt, Patricia Parker and husband, Dale; four (4) nieces, Chelsea Rottnek, Sheila Kosbab, Nancy Ceaser, and Jordyn Dominguez; three (3) nephews, Jeremy Ceaser, Christopher Ceaser, and Julian Self; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judie Dillard; sister, Tammy Ceaser; nephew, Jayson Ceaser; maternal grandparents, Charles “Chuck” and Marny Pierson; paternal grandparents, Floyd and Louise Seabolt; uncle, Jearl Dillard; cousin, Kevin Dillard, and many other family and friends. The family would like to express our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the physicians, nurses, and other staff in the critical care ICU at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa and to the staff of LifeShare Oklahoma, who all showed genuine compassion and care for Missy and our family while she was at Saint Francis Hospital.
