Ollie Gene Orman

Ollie Gene Orman, 86, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026. He was born on January 4, 1940, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Ollie and Nora (Hanson) Orman. Ollie was a proud graduate of Muskogee Central High School, Class of 1959. On May 22, 1991, Ollie married the love of his life, Cecilia Davidson. Together they shared thirty-five wonderful years of marriage filled with love, companionship, and cherished memories. He dedicated many years of service to the United States Postal Service before retiring. Throughout his life, he was known for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and willingness to help anyone anyway he could. One of Ollie’s greatest joys was fulfilling his childhood dream of owning Double Nothin’ Ranch. There, he combined his deep love for animals with his passion for the outdoors. He found happiness caring for livestock, working with his hands, hunting, fishing, and sharing his knowledge with others. Ollie most definitely never met a stranger and enjoyed a good “long” conversation. He especially loved teaching children the values he held dear, respect for nature, responsibility, hard work, and kindness. Though he grew older in years, he remained a “big kid” at heart, bringing laughter and joy to those around him. Ollie is survived by his devoted wife, Cecilia Orman of Muskogee, Oklahoma; his brothers, Jack Orman of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Rickey Orman of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; his children, Jimmy Joe Orman of Pensacola, Florida, Dana Orman of Woodall, Oklahoma, Troy Orman of Navarre, Florida, Robert Coon of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Patty Coon of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Cissy Sanders of Muskogee, Oklahoma; grandchildren, including Joe Joe Orman, Troy Wayne Orman, Anthony Gallagher, Kaleb Gallagher, Kimbra-Lee Hughes, Tiffany Orman, Janelle Deckard, Akela Kosewick, Alyssa Orman, and Shadeja Gallagher, along with 24 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense pride and joy to his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Nora Orman; his brother, George Orman; and his sisters, Helen Grounds, Doris Foster, and Suzie Spencer. A celebration of Ollie’s life will be 10AM, Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Muskrat officiating.
